Being influenced by false thoughts and ideas like “Seize the day for pleasure, for life is short” “The red flag at home does not fall, the colored flags outside flutter in the breeze.” etc., many people start to regard the infidelities, the extra-marital affairs, gold diggers and having mistresses etc. immoral things as right and proper, and even think it shows someone is capable. This causes many happy families to be torn apart and destroyed… Therefore, who on earth controls the social evil trends?
God’s word says, “One after another, all these trends carry an evil influence that continually degenerates man, causing them to continually lose conscience, humanity and reason, and that lowers their morals and their quality of character more and more, to the extent that we can even say the majority of people now have no integrity, no humanity, neither do they have any conscience, much less any reason…For man who is not of sound body and mind, who never knows what is truth, who cannot tell the difference between positive and negative things, these kinds of trends one after another make them all willingly accept these trends, the life view and values that come from Satan. They accept what Satan tells them on how to approach life and the way to live that Satan ‘bestows’ on them…” From God’s words, we can see the reason why the relationship between a couple is so fragile. It is because the evil trends from Satan poisoned man’s heart, causing many people to become increasingly evil and decadent. People are indulged in the flesh, play around with others, and treat those violating moral principles as positive things to pursue, so people have less and less conscience and reason. There is no care, love and consideration between wife and husband, even they become the strangers and both live in pain.
If we want to free from the affliction of Satan’s evil trends, there is only one way. God says, “Because the essence of God is holy, that means that only through God can you walk the bright, right road through life; only through God can you know the meaning of life, only through God can you live out a real life, possess the truth, know the truth, and only through God can you obtain life from the truth. Only God Himself can help you shun evil and deliver you from the harm and control of Satan. Besides God, no one and nothing can save you from the sea of suffering so that you suffer no longer: This is determined by the essence of God.” Obviously, only God is the truth, the way and the life, and only God can save us. Many brothers and sister in Christ can confirm it with their own experiences. They tasted a lot this pain before. Some of them read the words on God revealing how Satan corrupts mankind. They could see through the means Satan used to afflict man so that they were no longer disturbed by the betrayal of their wives or husbands. They found peace and joy from God. Besides, some were faced with the breaking of the family, but later because both the husband and wife followed God, God’s words changed both of them, and in the end, they got the happiness back. From their experiences, we can see only if we accept God’s salvation and live by God’s words, can we break away from Satan’s temptation and corruption, our conscience and reason be recovered, and all the suffering be resolved completely!
